Recently I have lost lots of weight and have been having a hard time finding clothes that make me look sexy. The hardest time is i have all this flab that did not go away from the loss of weight.

Through my research on the internet I was trying to find the right procedure for the best result for me. The amount of fluid injected varies and depends on the preference of the surgeon. “Ultrasound-Assisted Lipoplasty (UAL) This technique requires the use of a special cannula that produces ultrasonic energy. As the ultrasonic energy passes through the areas of fat it causes the fat cells to liquefy. The fat is then removed with the traditional liposuction technique. Because the fat is liquid at the time that it is removed, UAL is smoother and mechanically more efficient. UAL also minimizes trauma, resulting in less bruising and blood loss and especially improves the ease and effectiveness of liposuction in fibrous areas of the body. Procedure Description:

What To Expect:
Dr. Flint will meet with you to determine which areas of your body would benefit from liposuction. She will listen to your goals and examine you. She will discuss the procedure with you and answer any questions you may have.

Liposuction can provide dramatic improvements in areas of your body that are not responsive to diet and exercise.

Preprocedure:
Dr. Flint will describe the technique of tumescent or super-wet liposuction. All of your questions will be answered. You will be provided with information regarding fees and given an opportunity to select a date for your surgery if you so desire.

Postprocedure:
When you awaken in the recovery room, you will be wearing a light compression garment on the areas that were liposuctioned. This helps decrease bruising and swelling. You will be allowed to return home approximately two hours following the procedure. You will be sore for about one week but the discomfort is fairly mild. Bruising can persist for up to three weeks. Dr. Flint will see you in the office at one week, one month and four months post-operatively. Most people return to work one week after surgery. No lifting or athletic activities are allowed for three weeks because it can cause excessive swelling and bruising.
